    First time for us,
Ample parking, Short wait, Atmosphere was clean and very comfortable, Good music and not so loud you can't carry on a conversation.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had baked scrod and BBQ meatloaf both very good dishes. I'd order them again,
but I think we'll explore the menu more next time.
prices are above average, but you get what you pay for.
Bathrooms were clean, for me that is always a good sign. ;)
I think NYAJ is going to be our new go to restaurant.

Normally, I would give any NYAJ a good rating as it's consistent with food and service, and maybe this was due them only being 2 weeks into their new brunch menu/service, but it was a lackluster experience.

The brunch is priced at $28 for an adult and $12 for kids under 12, the adult brunch includes a mimosa or Bloody Mary. Quite honestly, they had 1149 brunch prices for a mediocre spread. Also, they should consider not including the alcoholic beverage and instead offer a bottomless drink option as a separate menu item/price. We got my toddler the brunch and she usually loves scrambled eggs and these didn't look all that great anyway (not super fresh or fluffy) so I'm not shocked she didn't like the eggs. The spiral pasta with marinara was "eh" and instead of a lox pizza they should have just had Margherita pizza out there. It was only 11:15 and there was no omelette person there at the station yet the roast, ham and other meats were essentially almost all gone.

Our server was great but we had to continually look for her, so service was pretty slow but she did say they were still trying to get acquainted with the brunch menu (which on the backside has some of their top items from the main menu)

Again, maybe they are in a learning curve but if I am going to spend $30 on a brunch it had better be a darn good one, glad we only spent the $12 and likely won't do that again either. We will stick to our lunch/dinner menu items that never fail us at NYAJ.

I used to order takeout from NYAJ almost weekly, but their quality has gone downhill while their pricing has gone up. Examples from my recent takeout order:

    1. Their goat cheese salad w/steak tips is $25 ($15 for the salad, $10 add-on for the steak tips) and for that you get four small pieces of steak. When I opened the container when I got home I couldn't believe they would charge $10 for such a small portion. I'm almost thinking the app overcharged me as $10 to add steak tips is robbery for the portion size.

    2. They changed their fries from delicious hand cut fries to generic fries that do NOT hold up well with a to go order. Every time I've ordered a burger I've had to throw out over half the fries as they're hard as a rock.

    3. They need to start over with their app as it's not always logical and overly complex with the way the menu is setup.

I don't know what's happening with this restaurant but I'm seeing smaller portions, higher prices, and as a result I'm going to hold off on another order until maybe, maybe they get their act together and go back to the quality I used to know them for.

We came for lunch during a weekday, the restaurant was fairly empty.  Nice atmosphere.  The balsamic glaze on our sirloin tips was too sweet, otherwise not bad.  Looks like a good option for happy hour.

My last visit to NYAJ was below average...very underwhelming.

I got the Fish and Chips and it was not very good.   The fish was very bland and it had no taste at all.   I had to put salt, pepper, lemon and I even tried to put some of the olive oil garlic butter on it, still no flavor.  I don't even eat high in salt.  At home, I don't add salt to any of my cooked dishes, I just make it with a bit of marinade or spices.   So I am one of those that eat low salt / low sodium...but this fish was Bland......

The fries were not crispy at all.  Not crunchy....  It was lunch around 11:00am, they had just opened, but still, the kitchen should be ready to go with the first client....

    Disappointed.....
